The city that I have chosen for the web assignment this semester is Raleigh, North Carolina. While I was stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina I had a chance to visit most of the major East Coast cites, and the city I had the most fun and can relate the most was Raleigh.
Raleigh is the capital of the state of North Carolina (NC) its located in Wake County and it’s know as the “City of Oaks” for its many oak trees. Raleigh is the second biggest city in NC after Charlotte, and it’s the 15th fastest growing city in the United States. Raleigh enjoys a subtropical climate. Raleigh is the home of the Carolina Hurricanes the winners of the Stanley cup in 2006, and the only professional sport team to win a championship in the state of North Carolina. Raleigh is know for being part of the Research Triangle metropolitan region and home to one the biggest high tech and biotech research in the united states and as well as advance textile development.
